BLTC aims to be an asset to the local community. We want to encourage as many people as possible to play tennis in our local area. In particular, we are committed helping young people get fit and active and develop valuable life skills through playing tennis.

At a community level we aim to:

• get mini tennis into each of the ten primary schools in Bicester.
• work with local disability groups to support active participation in disabled tennis.
• train and support junior tennis leaders from local school's Sports Leader programmes.
• run tennis clubs in schools with the junior leaders.
• organise regular local competitions for all young people to play in.

Please note: any school or group events run on the BLTC courts can only go ahead subject to satisfactory completion of a full risk assessment by the group leader.
